What is it?
Colocation is for those who have the hardware and the technical expertise to manage thier own machine and are looking for a secure hosting environment for their server.

What platforms do you support?
We can host Windows NT or Windows 2000 boxes.

What level of support do you provide?
Our assumption is that clients who require colocation have a good level of technical competence and therefore require less in the way of support and service as compared to those who opt for a dedicated server option. On The Spot are wholly responsible for the networking of the machine and connectivity. We will perform manual reboots on request, if more support is required contact us to discuss. The client has full responsibility for the set up, configuration and running of the machine.

What if I don't own a machine but still feel that co-location is what I'm looking for?
We can recommend a server to meet your requirements and purchase the machine on your behalf. We have flexible payment plans and 1, 2 or 3 year contracts.

How do I get access to my server?
In the first instance access is through remote access software.  Should you require physical access to the machine a bookings can be made at least 48hours prior to the visit. We will supply you with a password which you must provide when making a booking. An employee of On The Spot Internet will be present during any access time.
